Cancellation Policy

To complete the cancellation of your policy, please follow these steps:

1. Call the Health Insurance Marketplace

   • Call 1-800-318-2596

2. Follow the prompts to cancel your policy

   • You will be asked to confirm some personal identifying information prior to canceling. 

   • You may be asked to provide your date of birth, social security number, policy information, and your name. 

3. Set the Cancellation Date:

   • Confirm the last day you want your coverage to be active. Note that coverage typically ends the last day of the month in which you cancel.

Important Notes:

• Timing: Ensure you have alternative coverage in place, if applicable, to avoid gaps in health coverage. Ensure you complete these steps before the end of the month to avoid any future billing.

• Premium Payments: Stopping your premium payments without officially canceling could result in penalties or affect your ability to enroll in future Marketplace plans.
